The ground is the home of once famous club Ferro Carril Oeste who now play in the Primera B Nacional., Founded on July 28, 1904 by 95 railway workers from the Buenos Aires Western Railway. The ground was opened  2 January 1905 and has a crowd capacity of 24,442.
