Australia's George Gregan produced the try-saving tackle to deny New Zealand's Jeff Wilson in a thrilling Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney. Ace poacher Wilson had beaten three defenders and was headed for the line but the scrum-half hurled himself at the winger and dislodged the ball to save his side and ensure a 20-16 victory. Tries from Jason Little and Phil Kearns and four kicks from fly-half David Knox had put the Wallabies in control with Shane Howarth scoring all of New Zealand's points on the day.
