NZ Ski issued a statement yesterday announcing the delayed start of the ski season which, was due to commence this weekend..New Zealand sweltered through its hottest May since record-keeping began with figures issued today (June 1st) by climate agency Niwa showed that May was 2.3C warmer than usual.
